Apologies if already posted - worth a watch if not đź‘Ť

That bike is currently located very near to me. It's looking for a new owner.....

I've just checked....Seems as though it is now sold.

This bike is awesome, but too much money, up for 34k with some leeway, but still too much. I could only find one insurer that would insure it and they wanted ÂŁ1,790 per year wtf?

Yes, that's the problem. Insurance.
I did speak to Richard about that subject. He said that he was paying around ÂŁ500 more for an enhanced Rocket, which I suppose for such a power boost, probably isn't unrealistic.
Trouble is, that anyone who has such a conversion is completely at the mercy of the insurance company each time they renew, because there is likely to be very few companies that will take the risk without quoting a big figure.

Then there's the potential repair cost if anything lets go inside the engine......however, I don't think that there will be many riders that will really use the full power on tap, so providing the conversion is done fully & professionally, that isn't all that likely.

Yes insurance is the pita. I suppose at the end of the year, the insurers may change their minds and no longer want to insure it, might be in a spot where you can't get it full stop.

I've watched the TTS video where Richard describes the way they planned the design of the supercharger, the final implementation is nothing short of a work of art. I would have no qualms about buying one as far as the mechanical aspect goes, being a skinflint I could not justify the cost of the thing :(

Yeah.....You'd have to go all in. Some would do that in a heartbeat. Especially if they have access (geographically) to Richards workshop.

.....but then you're up to your neck financially with the risk that no one will insure you, so the fun/ÂŁ could easily be well below keeping the bike stock.

I'd love to try one out though......It's one for the bucket list, I reckon.

quarter mile time is still not under 10s after paying $30+ so whats the point?

show piece?

Difficult to really say about that. You'd have to ride both bikes at the same venue on the same day, I guess.

Aside from tyre choice and therefore grip....At 370hp, the weak point now, is the clutch. After that, it's the gear ratios.

A tuner's job is never done......

This motorbike ticks ALL my boxes!
Were I even 10 years younger (78 now) I'd be researching trans to USA costs.
