Triple filter noise???
btw - Have info from Colin that RAMAIR's special 1-pce R3 filter to fit under bear claw may be available sometime next week.
 
I'd love to see a dyno comparison between the triple K&Ns vs the single under tank K&N filter. I have my thoughts and would love to see the difference for REAL!
 
I don't think I'll bother Wayne with this but if he is reading these posts, maybe he'll chime in.

Wayne Tuneboy MacDonald did a custom tune for triple Unifilters and TORs and he got a boost over the stock filters. I tried the tune. Not a significant gain but it didn't run too well on my bike so I took the filters off.

What was the gain and why did you take them off?
I run an under tank filter which I know feels stronger than the stock under seat filter. I'll bet anything that the triple filters offer no real advantage in HP gain over the stock location and certainly not over the under tank filter.
Someone...show me the numbers!
So far all talk..no numbers.
