TRIKES AND SIDECARS ON THE ROCKET

???????????? Is it some kind of 'damper' set-up-- I don't get it ??

The one that Bruce has put on is smashin'--i.m.h.o., but I kind of prefer the trike idea more..

Wonder what the cost would be.
The front end on the black sidecar is a Specially built front swing arm with very little trail. A must for a good handling sidecar with no head shake. They also work well on trikes. If designed correctly they also have anti dive properties under brakes.

The Roadster is now considered MB's (Marybeth's) and is at the Motor Trike factory being converted. I of course won't part with my Standard. One Motor Trike options that I found very attractive is, they have a "raked triple tree". I am NOT a proponent of raked triple trees on two wheelers but I understand the resulting decrease in trail will make steering much more easy on a trike. Still two more weeks to go.

Didn't you tell me that it was going to cost somewhere around $15,000 for the conversion but buying one ALREADY converted was $25,000? I know we saw a dealer at the Galveston bike run but I can't remember the exact numbers he gave us.

I saw a red Rocket trike when I stopped by the dealer's last week.

Both the new R3T and R3R he had last time I was there had been sold.

HE said he has a '15 Rocket on the way.

My 08 with Champion Escort. Has Dark side rear tire. Raked triple tree for easier steering effort.
