I read on line on some motorcycle site that the 'skinny' style turn signals were very flimsy and have had a few reports of them snapping off while catching cleaning cloths, tarps and such. They do look brittle. I have caught my turn signals hundreds of times mostly while cleaning so I don't know if I would want something so delicate. Truthfully, It wouldn't take much pressure to snap my front or rear turn signals on my 2014 Rocket.
