I slid on some road sand yesterday while making a turn and down I went. I'm looking for repair shop recommendations in the DFW area of Texas for my beloved TR3. Especially in the Plano area.
Many thanks
Hi Oracsol.
Sorry to hear about your off and I hope you're OK.
European Cycle on Avenue K are pretty good, - I bought my R3 there in 2010 and have had a few things done by their Service Dept.
A couple of points:
A. The Service Dept. Manager is called Merrin (sp?). He can be a miserable so-and-so but is quite efficient.
B. The tech I have work on my bike is called George. He's Polish (I think) and is very honest, ethical and thorough. He knows the Rocket well, so try and have him do the work.
A few years ago Tony at EuroSport helped me out when I was riding an Adventurer. My brother also enjoyed a couple bikes from that shop (before he went H-D).
I hate to meet and greet everyone under these circumstances but many thanks for the recommendations. I'll post progress once I hear from the insurance adjuster. As they say, any accident you can walk away from is a good accident. Even better when you can pick the bike up and drive it away.
Put me bike down yesterday .this was fourth time I've done this you'd think I would have learnt by now . But this time was differerent my right arm issues prevented me from picking her up .some times it's nice to have an audience . The situation was quickly righted with help .embarrassed ? A little ,but gratefully there was some person there to help .minimal damage and a bit of pain . And all is good .
