I always turn mine off. The battery lasts much longer.The TPMS on my KTM is touchy too. Sometimes I have to have the valve stems up when turning it on for it to function right away, or it takes a few miles. I never fitted it to the Rocket 3. The pressure to keep in the tires is what they are cold though. They'll always pressure up when hot.
