I didn’t know quite where to ask this so here it is…I would like people’s opinion on towing motorcycle trailers, particularly the tent trailer type.
What type/brand of trailer? What was the total weight? What approximate size & tire size? What are your “pros” & “cons”? What bike were you towing with and did you have a passenger at the time? What area of the country were you travelling?
Reason that I’m asking is I’m thinking of going to more bike rallies here in Canada and it seems that I don’t get notifications of such, or don’t decide to go until the last minute and find that there are no places to stay overnight and as such looking to purchase a type of “pop up” tent trailer.
I will add that I’ve been riding all my life, 72 this next riding season, and will be pulling with an R3. The Harley’s will all stay in the shop.
