Apologies if this has been covered already but if it had, I can't find it! On to my question. Has anyone fitted the 4.5 inch touring lights made for the R3T to a R3 Roadster? If so, how do they attach - to a set of front dresser bars? I just like the idea of having some extra illumination available and these look superior to the fog lamp kits for the Roadster. Thoughts anyone?

It's going to require a lot of modifications to fit a set of large lights designed for a single headlight system to a dual headlight bike. It would look like a Mac truck coming at you on the highway. LOL

The small fog lights made for the dual headlights are ugly, but put out a surprising amount of light. I guess they are starting to grow on me since I installed them last fall, they are typical Triumph. Well made, sturdy and fit the bike like a glove. The light pattern they throw out fills in the gaps of the duals and illuminates ditches and hedge rows nicely.

Looks like I'm gonna have to stop calling them ugly since I seem to like them so much. ;)

I think those fog lamps look OK, but I'm not at all willing to part with 350 bucks for a set. Is there anyone who's also unwilling - and has found a reasonably priced alternative?

I also have a set of thin-line cheapie fog lights mounted under the radiator. They were $20 at PepBoys.

These can be had for $20 at Walmart.

I have them mounted off of the brake caliper bolt.

I would like an extra set of headlights mounted on the dresser bars, maybe smaller with lower current draw. The wider profile would be a safety bonus at night IMO. Is there a problem (law or draw) having two set of lights that have both high and low beams?
