I posted a link for a brand new later Standard , Classic and Roadster Chrome tank last week in the Accessories forum going for just US$200 and nobody has bitten the bullet yet and it is half the price of original RRP.

Is the Touring Chrome tank different to the Roadster version?

Paul, Pandora's in TN told me the trim rail parts were readily available, they could order them. Might have to wait for shipping but there was still stock in the UK.

I was looking for the front fender trim kit only (personal aesthetic) and they confirmed that the world is indeed out of THAT one. Has anyone considered the fender tip from the Roadster on a touring, or are the fenders (do I have to learn to start calling them mudguards? ) too different in width + tip shape?

 

Yep, that last bit.
 
And how about that trick Touring headlight shroud?. I'm not even sure what to call the thing
