I would say the dealer unless you have PCV etc
I have just done the TOR's on mine (2012R), also did the crossover pipe, found one on eBay for a lot less than the Staintune, so can only comment about the improvement both give, and its good

As can been seen, very close to the protective cover/box surrounding the ABS (ABS unit is well clear of the sides inside this cover), had the dealer fit mine when they installed the TOR's
???? All Roadsters have ABS so any crossover for a Roadster will accommodate ABS. I think you must be thinking about full systems like Jardine. The ones built for pre Roadster bikes ie Standards and Classics, may not fit on a Roadster. The newer ones though, built for the Roadster, will fit OK on the pre 2010 models.

So to recap, I don't necessarily need the crossover if I am just looking for a sound change? I am quite happy with the performance as is. I would love to have it but expenses are making me cautious. Hoping that if I don't need it immediately, it could be something for next year.

Correct. TORs will be you best priced option for what you want. Some people have drilled holes through the end of the stock pipes too, if you don't want to spend anything, but it's not something I'd do. There's a thread somewhere or other. You will need a ***n big drill bit though.
