The speed is ECU limited to 147 which I have seen on the speedometer. It will not exceed that without going into the ECU and changing the settings which I hear is not an easy thing to do.
The instructions are on Tuneecu.fr. You have to be connected to the internet, read the map under the map tab, go to parameters, and there should be an option to uncheck the speed limit box and pay.

Yesterday a Harley rider on an on-ramp veers way early over the crosshatch paint to come over into the far left lane where I am cruising and tries to pass me on the inside of the left lane, if that makes any sense, visually. I let him get 10 feet or so in front of me, downshift to fifth and casually go 10 feet in front of him. Easily. He is still giving it the beans, I let off, he passes me again. I give it full throttle and blaze past him. There is traffic up ahead so I let off and Captain America starts lane splitting. Dude. Do you think he is telling the same story but it’s about how he smoked a Rocket? Wait, that doesn’t sound right.
Bad things can happen at triple digits. Yes, bad things can happen at 20mph for the pedantic crew. But limbs don’t usually come flying off. I just thought it was very strange. Unless that is how he usually rides.
You ain’t kidding about speed on a crowded road. The guys at the dealership told me about a guy they sold a new Rocket to that was going 130 on a crowded interstate in the city limits. He went through a pickup truck and was killed. He owned the bike three weeks. I’ll run my bike up through the gears wide open but I won’t hold it for very long. I usually let off around 125 or so.
