Sonny i just replaced my primary tps and my idle speed motor and its no big deal bro if you like i will walk you through tuneecu setup, but i would suggest using the stepper motor "Big difference! "Good luck and be safe"
 
Sonny's not the first R3 I've seen without the stepper motor. The bike I worked on idled just fine without it.

@sonny what do you have idle set at, just out of curiosity.

Just below 1,000 RPM Found that works best. To low and you gonna have to give it a bit on the throttle. To high and it sucks. Found the sweet spot. I would say somewhere between 1990 and 1995. RPM. warm engine.
