Thunderbike oversize handle bars.....

I have those bars & the cans on mine but mine is an 07 model has cat by-pass 2 pipes 1 side & 1 on the other like standard sounds good. Not sure how they would mount up to the roadster cross-over pipe couldn't see they would be that different. Maybe a small mod @ worst. Others would know more than me though. My bars are just bolted straight on. Gauge bracket has been modified slightly to suit hope this helps

Btw, what's "hen's teeth"

Tomcat, Fella at thunderbike said someone had issue with roadster. Have you heard anything about their exhaust? (link on previous mssg)

There's no issue with fitting the bars to a Roadster; problem area is the gauges. I understood they had (or were going to have) a bracket to relocate the gauges just a little so they fit. As I said, surprised they haven't worked it out already.
I looked at a Classic back before I bought my bike that had Thunderbike 2 pipe system (2 pipes on RHS). Sounded great, eliminated cat and saved weight. I believe they quoted performance improvement figures

Moving forward with thunderbars oversized.

As for cans I think I'm going with Shorty slip ons they make for roadster. It eliminates the cats as they are in stock slip ons but am I losing out by leaving the box between headers and slip-ons this system. Imagine it makes more quiet, heavier and les power? Any connectors. I could use to lose the box? I like the 3 to 2 look with 1 per side of shortys but wish it lost box like thunderbikes exhaust system.

Anyone put these on a Roadster yet? Thunderbike hasn't had one installed on a Roadster yet. Bars come with a bracket to move instruments to fit. He's not sure if he needs to change the bracket.

Thanks

Just do it. Thunderbars feel great, better leverage so steering is less effort. Regarding the gauge bracket, just install per instructions, and gently push down on the gauges, towards the tank until everything clears. They do fit the roadster fine and it's like a 30 second fix for the bracket.
