Thanks for your input and advice. If I had the tune kit input device for R3 I'd try to lower the fan to come on at lower temps, but don't have the kit to do that. Is there a manual way of doing that? Without a CPU plug in device?

There is an Aussie High Performance one that fits and increases flow suited for modified engines. @Kevin frazier got one last year.
Check with him but it did requre a little file work I think.

It fit fine ish, no issues, opens at 165f I believe, i got 10 milesout of it. But im gonna buy another, it helps, but NOTHING helps like a time consuming tune. Like days worth, then temp is no issue, ever.
