R3TEX, from where in Brookshire will you be riding from? My wife is contemplating riding behind us by car and hop on for the Hill Country ride. If anyone has a trailer and wishes to bring it as back-up let me know and she can pull it with the Yukon instead of driving the small car. My son can't make it. Waiting on brother from Jasper to confirm.
Is there final call on where The Pack is going to stay?
 

@1K9 I have a Brookshire address, but we actually live out in the county. Most of my crew will be meeting at my house (~ 10 miles north of Brookshire proper). We can either meet there or there is a Flying J at the FM 359 exit off I-10 that we can meet at. I suspect that there may be at least one truck and trailer headed down with us. I have some friends coming over from Lafayette and his bike is not set up for a trip of that length (for his passenger). We will be leaving Brookshire around noon on the 20th. Most of the folks that I've talked to are staying at the Frio Pecan Farm Frio Pecan Farm - Frio River Lodging, Pecans

Back in the early days of The Tour De France, before they came out with those fancy riding breeches with the chamois padding in them, the riders would put a piece of raw flank steak in between them & the breeches - Try to talk her into that??????
If ya'll do that & ride down................ I'll be keeping my eyes on that grille!!!!!!
 

OK Will report back once my small group is set up. Will get a cabin @ Frio River Lodging. Last time I did a long group ride was to Daytona in 1996, 20 years ago. Too long. Was riding a Harley Sportster back then.

We won't be in any big hurry to get there since it looks like there will be a reasonably large group. We will make plenty of pit stops and pee breaks
