There is a mod that adds a piggyback relay to the starter circuit that sorted same problem for me a couple of years ago ..... been no problem ever since maybe cheaper to try before buying new starter etc ...... it was a couple of years ago tho I’d have to look where I got the info from .. it was in a forum .. think actually maybe on YouTube as well
