That's what I'm gonna do

Since the "dash" is full I had no place to put my Garmin that would allow access to the ignition key. I ordered Rivco's ignition relocation kit and that's what I'm gonna do. Has anyone already done this? Looks easy, the kit is not too expensive, and mounting instructions sound easy.
Thoughts would be appreciated.

The hardest part is pulling the switch out from its factory spot. The directions (at least mine) did not say that you should remove the headlights but go ahead and do it. It makes access easier. I used a thin screwdriver to tap on the side of the bolt heads (whats left of them) to initiate the unscrewing. The screws are not in there very tight. Oh, make sure that you are working on the right set of screws. There's another set on the barrel that you don't want to mess with. Lastly, take care to not tug on the wire tail coming out of the bottom of the switch. It is susceptable to breaking a solder weld in there.

Thanks for the tips guys. I like the DGD Keyless item but don't have $399 right now. I can part with the $60 for the Rivco unit however after looking up the "search" on it I may be doing the self-imposed "layaway" program until I can afford the Keyless. That is if the install proves to have the wrong connectors, etc. Thanks again
