Canberra from my back deck a few moments ago - just after 4 pm. It's 10 degrees. In 30 minutes it will be just above 0 and going down to -4. And we have that for the next week. It might be cold but we get plenty of winter sun. The clearer the day, the colder the night.
If you look to the right of the power pole you can make out the Captain Cook water spout in the middle distance.
