how much stuff can your keep in the pouch. I want to keep a pair of glasses, a garage door opener, and an easy pass box. Will they fit. It looks awfully small in the pics

i suspect it'd hold a padlock, perhaps a pack of cigarettes, lighter. i removed the one on my bike because the leather dye was staining the white paint on the tank. it took quite a bit of effort to polish through the stained area.

I used to put my garage door opener in mine. Could just press on the outside of the pouch and it would activate. Found it very convenient. Not much room for much else because if something slipped to the bottom, it was impossible to get it out - well not easy anyway.

I keep a hip-flask in my panel pocket. It's inscribed with Triumph Rocket 111 and my forum handle, I got the large size and had to push it to fit. Could be handy for emergency fluid transfers.

I had one on mine but it ended up damaging the paint. Real PITA to buff out.

It will hold a small garage door opener and an EZpass at the same time but the opener has to be really shoved down.

If I could, I would discourage you from putting the tank strap on. You can install a Flash2Pass for the garage (works great!) and can get another mounting solution for the EZPass. I carry mine in a small magnetic tank bag and it works just fine.

By the way, if I could more or less echo what emwolb and tdragger have said, I took mine off because I didn't much like the look, it scratched the paint (although it has polished out OK) and didn't really seem to very useful - although I hadn't thought about a hip flask.

sure kingmerle, i'd sell it cheap as i don't plan on using it for anything other than preventing about a square foot of bench space from collecting dust. i'm sure there's a good use for it, but whatever would fit into the pocket of the tank leather thing will also fit into my jacket pocket. pm me if you're interested.
