Tank badge question.

I am in need of a little group knowledge.
I have a spare set of tins for my 2006 beast. I am in the process of prepping them all for new paint. I have them down to bare metal and intend on doing them in a silver base with a silver chameleon metal flake all topped off with a nice dose of candy apple red.
To get to the point, In the prepping of the gas tank I have uncovered M5 threaded inserts for the tank badges. I was under the belief that the tank badges were fixed with double sided tape. So my question is, is there a set of tank badges that screw on to the tank or ?? I am debating whether to just fill over them or not. I would like original tank badges but don't seem to be able to find any that are screw on.
No idea what year the tank is. It came with the bike but was covered in about 5 layers of paint with a Hydrographic print over the paint and then a home attempt at a black vinyl wrap over that.
Here's a pic of the bike with the Orange Tribal tinware as it is now.

I have a few sets of tank badges for RIIIT (used), RIII Roadster (used) and some carby T100 Bonneville and America accessory versions.
Only the T100 Bonnie and America optional accessory ones are screw mount from memory and were one of 3 options they had, from memory:
Heritage,; Eyebrow; and Classic - all chromed cast metal rather than 3D plastic or just decals.

What are your mount hole center spacings?
Are they threaded bosses or just press fit friction mounts for plastic lug pins on some factory badges?
Other metal vehicle badges can have press fit pins too.

I'll check to see if my chrome metal ones will fit and their part numbers.
They come with a rubber base mat as well from memory.

Definitely threaded. They are M5 threads.

Yep, different width between holes my A9758044 Eyebrow and A9758045 Heritage metal ones are 13cm center to center and your photo indicates spacing is 15 cm center to center.

I found another source of info on another website.
"Tank badges from the 1993 - 2003 Thunderbird and 2001 - 2016 Bonnevilles are all interchangeable. I currently have the Thunderbird "garden gate" badges on my 2008 Bonneville. Up to 2007 the tank badges were of the screw-in variety, after that they were applied with adhesive. However the tank curvatures are all compatible. So if one's determined one can use adhesive to apply a screw-in badge to a tank that lacks screw holes."

The accessory metal versions listed for the following will apparently fit 1993 - 2003 Thunderbirds and 2001 - 2016 Bonnevilles too.

Triumph America Carb2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007
Triumph Bonneville T100 CARBS2002, 2003, 2004, 2005
Triumph Speedmaster CARBS2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007

These in image below are the stock tank plastic badges T3900087 and T3900086 for Carby America.

I also have a weird pair A9708082 transparent clear plastic pair with Yellow Triumph for carby Bonnevilles/Scramblers.

Cheers for that. Some interesting info in there. Can't say I remember ever seeing the A9708082 ones. I am leaning towards just "papering over" the inserts and going with the regular stick on badges, or maybe none at all, at this point.
