I am planning to get a Tail bag for my 22 R3GT. I dont want to spend 1000's for Triumph Panniers.
I have been looking at these last weekend and wanted your collective wisdom on them or any other recommendation. Please let me know which one you think will be better and works/fits well on the back seat. Thanks a ton.
This fits great on the OEM bag rack behind the seat. Clips off and on in seconds, I have secured the straps in place by weaving them into the rack itself.
Holds all my necessary stuff (hat, sunglasses, locks, cleaners for shield, this that the other, a ton). It is expandable and comes with a cover. The bottom needs some sort of protection so it doesn't get soaked in the rain from the rear tire spray but other than that, I find it applicable for my needs.
NelsonRig FTW, seriously awesome gear at a VERY good price. the plastic latches don't last forever out in the sun! but i got 2 years on them. keep it indoors, 5 years NO problem. ALSO turns into a backpack if you have to go 2 up in a pinch!
Too late for the OP but Kriega drybags are terrific. Variety of sizes, expandable, stackable, waterproof, seriously they can do it all. I've had a 10L and 30L for over 10 years, used on all my bikes, highly recommend.

I use the Saddlemen TR2300DE. Works great, holds a lot.
I have used this one on many, many long trips. Carries a lot and still allows me to swing my right leg over when mounting.
I used the pillion mount to attach the bag.
