Sturgis Trip

Last time i went to sturgis was in 1975. Originally set up by Indian Motorcycle company to bring peace to the outlaw bikers. A place basically to let your hair down and settle your differences. Nowadays a different animal. Kind of like little kids playing cowboys and Indians. Since Harley took it over like everything else they do it is IMAGE OVER SUBSTANCE. Not impressed.

I'm not impressed either btw.
Elephant, Penguin and Kristal rallies are for real rallyists.
I'm to big a wuss to go to them as well - I hate the cold.

And they are all full of people, wtf?

It's an interesting dichotomy - we like our own company - but in order to see everything we want - we have to share that with others.
The advantage of age is that I can just be as cantankerous as always - but now it's acceptable. Almost.
 
Obstreperous Sexagenarian? Really had to go and look that one up. Would make a great t-shirt.
