Stuck for ideas - Oil tank filler plug

Help. My brain is stuck in a loop and being very unimaginative.

Want to make an alternative oil tank plug so I can slip an electrical OIL TEMP sensor in.

I made one once for a Harley but it looked a bit odd - I do know the thermistor I will be using does NOT have to be immersed.

Ali and Delrin I have. Lathe and Mill I have.

Yes I know - I could weld a nut on and screw the sensor in - but I don't want to do anything irreversible.

Open to ideas.

Look for "innovate gauges" in the search feature. Micromike1 did an excellent job with an oil temp sensor install in the oil cap.

That's sort of what I'm thinking but without using the original cap.
