Dyno showed 265hp, sometimes I'd get a jump on him from light to light, easier to launch a lightweight Bonnie than a monster that bites, note smiley on post.
Neither of us have ever run timed 1/4 not a big thing over here, but when that thing grips it goes pretty quick, not as quick as my R3 but fast enough for most.

So you cant beat him if hes making 265 on the Dyno you dont have to go to a drag strip . So what distance is light to light ? A 100 hp bonny wont beat a 265HP Rocket but you can have fun trying over a short distance .

LES how do you know did you guys actually race somewhere on a long enough road that light to light racing is fun but usually not long enough to get out of 2nd gear

Rob & I ride together quite a bit we get on it sometimes, his bike runs strong & he is a better rider than me, even if I get the jump on him the faster we go, the harder his bike accelerates, still fun even though after 2nd/3rd I can only watch him pulling further away.
