Hi Gang,

I am working with BT moto to possibly get a tune on my storm...I have had trouble connecting there tuning device since the storm has a newer Triumph ECU...I was however able to connect to Tune Ecu on the storm and even reset the service light. I am curious if anyone knows anything about this map that is on the storm? I have heard it is actually close to @Penner tune...here is the info...

I am surprised you can see that much.
But it is still far from being able to do any changes to the map.
I have some superficial knowledge about how to do that, as my son develops this kind of software for Harleys and Indians.
What is most important is that the dealer still has a tool that containes the full map in its memory.
Most manufacturers do updates online over their servers nowadays and that makes it much more complicated.
I am not sure what Triumph actually does.
If they still do it with their old hardware, there is a good chance Alain will come up with maps for the Storm models.

Triumph will eventually also switch to the new interface port (non-odb) and newer ecu’s. This I believe the last of this “old” management systems

just wanted to update everyone, BT Moto was NOT able to tune my bike...

curious if anyone can help me tune it via tune ecu? It appears I can connect via tune ecu. I have installed the zard exhaust and no longer have cats.

take Mr Penner word and dont do anything and wait, if not there is a one guy who you can contact, I only know him through online facebook, he also opens ECU for flashing and charge $$$$ , let me share his details, he is somewhere in Austria

Last year, there was internet outage at my dealer while bike was being serviced and since they had no internet they said we cant do anything, which means to service the bike dealers needs internet.

I am so sick of this ECU drama with OEMs.

I am going to research into opensource ECU whenever time and resources will permit rusEFI
