Just noticed of this weird inconsistency. So, the Storm models (GT & R) come in 3 colors, red, blue, and gray.
So, for the GT the top of the tank is black, the bottom is the color. For the R, it is the color on top, black on the bottom.
The INCONSISTENCY is with the GRAY color in both, GT and R. For some reason, only the gray color is FLIPPED on both models. G has gray on top instead of black, and R has gray on the bottom, instead of the top.
It just makes no sense.
Check the color schemes:
For R: All-New Rocket 3 R Storm
For GT: All-New Rocket 3 GT Storm
PS: I always felt like there is something "wrong" with the color orientation on my gray GT. It was more a gist that I knew it is not matching to my expectation, for some reason, but when I checked the Triumph site, all seemed to be good and proper, so I didn't trust that inner voice anymore. But now found out that in fact I expected my GT to have black on top. Probably because I generally coveted the blue one, with black on top, but my dealer just had a gray ready to take home, and it was acceptable.
