He's owned Triumphs since before they were an 'in thing'. Saw the Stray Cats live at Cloudland in Brisbane many years ago .. was a pretty f#ckin wild concert.
The missus tells me she remembers slim Jim from when he was in town in the early 80's, my style was more ZZZ concerts at Cloudland but they were with bands like Split Enz and Mental as Anything. music, grog, bikes and punks behaving badly. The National Party can rot in hell for pulling that place down in the middle of the night, bunch of slimy arsoles.
Brian Setzer is one of my favorite guitar players, not just because he can play the guitar really well but he can do that plus sing and generally put on a spectacular show at the same time. Sort of like Chuck Berry only a lot better! I was looking at some old you tube vids of the Stray Cats and noticed he was wearing a Triumph shirt so took a screenshot and posted. I think this was from a performance in 1980.
