I do'nt abuse mine, i think it's fast enough as it is and i do not take the rpm anywhere near the red line. I usually cruise around our narrow English country roads not using 5th gear. Plus i do'nt want to wreck the gearbox. As we all know the Rocket pulls like a train in all gears. The engineering on all my bikes is something i respect. No abuse needed.

I believe they started with the 7, and changed later to the 8. Believe if you're regular every day riding normal use, the 7's would be fine. If pushing harder and upper rpm's the 8 would probably be better. Don't believe either range would hurt unless running lean. Run a set of either and pull them out after one or two hundred miles and check them. Usually takes a little while for plugs to color
