I have seen on a site the the solo rack requires the chrome fender rail covers however when I go to triumph site it makes no mention nor is it offered so I am a bit confused. the part number it says I need is A9758075 so in the end I am trying to figure out why I would need it if I do in fact need it

Yeah you need them (at least I was told you need them). They have cut outs for the rack. They don't cost much. I got mine from MADSS when I bought the rack. Unless you get a discount from your dealer I'd recommend them as they give a 20% discount and free shipping.

That's a very nice pic of your Rocket there Bob. Looks like mine.:D

I bought a Tourer last March, is that an aftermarket seat? if so what brand? also where did the rack come from? I have always fixed my Valkyries like this and would like to do the same to this one. Nice Pic, BTW

That's the solo seat option from Triumph that I chose when purchasing the bike. Since I purchased the bike new they also gave me the stock dual bench seat.

Bob, I have the solo seat with backrest too. I like the rack, but have the docking station on my bike for the "quick detach" passenger backrest (wife rides occasionally). Is the solo rack quick detach or is it a bolt on item?
