I was waiting for that comment,to be honest it was a gift from my youngest granddaughter. Sometimes you have to think positive ( Negative waves - YouTube ) and bite the bullet. TOMCAT has it right,it's an old school thing . I've seen them 4 feet long Old-School "Getback" Biker Whip - Chilhowee Motorcycle Leather

1% used to display their colors using tassels then there's the ole west cowboy/indian theories, keeping rain away and allowing it to run off. Assyrians and Babylonians believed the fringe assured the wearer of the protection of the gods. Kinda like the little bell that keeps evil spirts away.Now that you got the history lesson YOU of all people should know how sensative young children are,it would break her little heart if i took them off...

Bloke at work has a road king i think. Not sure its hard to see in the rear view mirror for the half second its there before disapearing but it sounds like a harley anyway
 

I attended CSU, Chico back in the seventies. Certainly no shortage of great riding out your way. Boy, did I love carving through the Sierra Nevadas on my Hondas, a CB 350 and a 750F, back in the good old days!
