Another Touring for sale on the Forum. Not done with Rockets, but told I can’t have two. Been commuting on my EV motorcycle exclusively so this one hasn’t been getting much use as of late. Plus I am planning on spoiling myself with the new rocket later next year while gas is still obtanium. I have loved this bike and sad to let it go, but only so much room in the garage. I will be listing other accouterments and spare parts for this model as well (not as extensive as @Ishrub though). I have this listed in other places and will likely list on Cycletrader before long. In the mean time, here are the details.
A few upgrades include:
LED headlamp,
Kuryakian mirrors with integrated turn signals,
progressive springs in the forks,
Progressive 444 rear shocks,
power plug for rider,
Powerlet plug for passenger,
taller risers,
comfortable handlebars from a Honda Valkyrie,
Integrated heated grips,
Avon comfort grips,
Ramair air filter,
Chromeline accent package,
chrome passenger floorboard accents,
Tank bib with conchos and pouch,
Throttle lock,
and Givi 57L touring trunk with Show Chrome luggage rack added.
The trunk is keyed to the saddlebags and the ignition. The mount holding the trunk can hold a significant amount of weight so it can handle all your luggage. I also converted the air box under the seat into a waterproof storage compartment that works great for tools.
The bike is in excellent condition. All maintenance is up to date with records, and this is ready for cross-country trips. Tires are still better than 50%, all brake fluid flushed this past fall along with the oil and filter (Fall of 2023).
I have the title in hand, free and clear. Mileage is at 26,471 which may increase slightly. Asking $8,500. Located in Los Angeles, which is a great place to fly and ride home from. I still have a GPS and Phone mount attached as seen in the pictures, but those are not included in the sale. Sorry, no test rides.
