Skene P3 lights

Just a short little post.
I just installed the Skene P3 lights with the turn signals and man am I impressesd. They work extremely well. There is a flicker to the lights you can't see on the video but it's there. Took about 45 min to install.

Can you give us a thumbnail sketch of the installation procedure, Dawg? It looks like a great set up for increasing conspicuity.

Mine has a simple bracket that mounts atop the license plate.
They attach via strong double back tape.
LEDs are very bright, however also very directional.
I adjusted mine for maximum brightness at 250 feet at an average driver's eye height of 42".
Apologies for the terribly exposed photo - I hope you get the idea.

I installed the LED lights on either side of the licence plate. Ran the wires from the LED's under the rear fender towards the right side of the bike, following the path of the rear and turn signal lights.

You will notice in the picture three red positaps, this is the easiest place to connect the wires from the controller.
Yellow from the controller to the blue rear tail light connector
Green from the controller to the left White signal connector
White from the controller to the right white signal connector

The red (+) and the black (-) are connected to a power terminal block I installed previously under the left side cover.

I should mention that when you use positaps....fill them full of dielectric grease to prevent water penetration.
