Bought some Redwings five years ago. Overall, not stylish, but work.
Wearing Dr. Comforts now. Ok looking, but could use an aggressive sole to combat oil on asphalt. I guess I could use a grinder or have vibram soles put on.
Five hundred for California firm mentioned earlier. Not wanting to buy the boot shop...
Another option for Tall boots are SNAKE BOOTS.
I use some Spanish Winter Hunting boots.
Hunting boots are generally more comfy when you get off and have to walk.
But I've bookmarked "gasolina". I especially like the Spats idea.
Altberg have been mentioned and were for years the suppliers of GoldStar bike boots which I used.
They will do 100% made to measure as well as simply made to order.

Great ideas, Graybeard!
The hunting for better walking is a biggie for me.
I marked those spats as well. Would have got them had I known before I had my leather heat resistant legin made.
Thorogood boot company makes sizes to 18 in eee. That's what I wear since any conventional motorcycle boot won't fit. I normally wear a 14ee or 15ee depending on boot. I have a pair of icon elisnoir boots in 14 but they fit a little too tight to be comfy and that's the biggest they make, so I know your pain.

I wear the wedge series heritage but I know they make other styles with heels. I was against wedges but they seem to work with me just fine (only been wearing them for 4 months now).

I am constantly using my heels to index and rest on my engine guard pads and . . . heh heh heh
before recently adding the boards, heels were necessary on the pegs as well.
Ditto - I tried several equestrian "spats"/"leggings" but none fitted over the Bike gear. May write to "Gasolina" See if they'd custom make them using their perforated leather.
