Seat question.

I've tried 1/2" gel pad and ceramic beads. Im now saving my egg money for something soft and supple to cushion my tired ass; and it won't be a Corbin.

That airhawk is better than either of those . . still not a Russell day-long though.

cktire I looked it up and it's a real condition, but I wouldn't have told any one.

From .caringmedical.com

Coccygodynia can be caused by a number of factors. Usually, patients report pain after a fall onto their buttocks. This is referred to as acute coccygodynia. Chronic coccygodynia, on the other hand, usually occurs after damage to the sacrococcygeal ligaments due to a difficult pregnancy, delivery, repeated trauma, or from repetitive strain from rowing, cycling or faulty posture while sitting. Some also cite anal intercourse as the cause of pain.

I've been riding for over 40 years and guys I will NEVER have another cruiser without a driver backrest. It makes ALL THE DIFFERENCE for hauls of any length. I'm 6'4" also and for a LONG time I have been plagued with lower back pain after relatively short distances prior to having a back rest. For me it's a must. There are lots of choices out there. Corbin is a good one but it will be an expensive one. Good luck in your search.

Agreed. After 30 plus years on a bike I tried a backrest two years ago and cannot believe what that does to comfort. I don't care what it looks like-it's the single biggest improvement I ever did. What I like about the Utopia and the Triumph is that they pivot (the pad area) so in the bumps I'm not getting jabbed like on my Corbin-which I sold because of that.
This may assist others-the Utopia solution is also much less than the others.
