seat question

Mate if they have a problem with shipping just let me know, I will buy it and ship to you at cost - Bro....

I can get you one for AUD$165 (might be able to get a bit knocked off too) but would have to check on shipping across the ditch. Drop me a conversation if interested.
You beet me - But that would be best coming from you as you is closer still - and working at a Triumph dealer helps too.

thanks you guys, I might have to take you up on your kind offer if nothing happens soon canberra3. All 3 dealers I emailed replied back to me very quickly and had seats in stock for $165 but strangely None have them have replied back (yet) once i mentioned I was in NZ and wanted it freighted. I guess I had better give them a little more time to reply as they might be sussing shipping costs or something eh.

Another bizarre part of this seat story is that when i bought the bike the guy i bought it off delivered the bike to me but 'forgot' to bring the pillion seat. Said he would send it but never did so talked to him on the phone, he then said it was at an upholstery shop and the guy was away but he would send it soon...so i left it a week and called back but he didn't answer the phone or call back or reply to my emails. I still don't know 100% if he is deliberately avoiding me, it looks that way which is odd as he seemed straight up (maybe he's dead or abducted by aliens?) but i decided to not waste my time chasing the thing or him anymore and anyway they aren't that great to sit on so hence the plan to get a dual seat

Stock pillion seats are ok for chicks you don't want to take riding again, mothers-in-law etc Roadster pillion pads are a way better option.
I've never sat on either one so I cant comment. But the Roadster pillion seat can easily be modified to suit the individual by a good seat upholsterer as you can take just the pillion seat off to have it worked over.

Hope it is NOT the same upholstery puke that screwed @Wrecka!

Just got an email back from reg at JCS in Perth, looks like it's all sorted, $165 and $65 freight - sounds pretty good to me
Thanks for that info bigkel and all you helpful guys for going out of your way to help me out, much appreciated will post a shot of the seat on the beast when i get it

Hope it works out for you I use them seats and liked them until I sat on Speedy's Classic that he adapted the wide R3T seat to Now I think mine are junk and want to go the the touring route or splurge for a day long saddle.
