Screaming Banshee horn kit on the R3T?

The only thing I did was run a rubber hose from the air intake to the back side of the horn. I am going on 2 years with it mounted horizontally even though they say to be within 15 degrees of vertical. I figure for the price, if I can get 3-5 years out of it, I will just bite the bullet and replace it.
