I received a call today from the wife of Lon, known to many of us as @dealer.
Lon passed on Wednesday from a sudden onset of pancreatic cancer that took him quickly.
Lon and I had been friends for over 10 years. Separated by the Cascade Mountains long lived in eastern Washington and I lived in western Washington. We rode together several times, but met many times over the years while trading and selling Triumph motorcycle parts to each other. Lon was a quiet bright guy and a good friend. I miss him already.
Lon was a great dealer too as per his forum name and liked a bit of bling too!
Unless he has lots of relatives wearing Triumph T's, he must have swapped or given away lots of them too to promote the brand because he bought a few dozen NOS ones off me that I had found. dude, RIP

I remember reading of Lon in eastern WA. Sad to hear of his passing. I guess any of us geezer guys could drop unexpectedly. So live life well every day folks. RIP Lon.
