I have a 24 Rocket 3 GT, and I trying to increase my rpm limit from 6500, the TuneECU seems to work for the rest of the bike, but when I slide the rpm limiter slide to 7400 and reprogram, I dont see anything changing on the bike. It still shows 6500.
I think I have the right map, for R3GT above AV5457, but if it's wrong that might explain it, but it definitely feels like the throttle power has increased.

Now you got me curious. I just flashed mine too. And the redline is still at 6.5, but I think I went past it without rev limiter kicking in on the first outting afterwards. I gotta go to Mexico later and check it out...

The throttle openings are restricted to about 65% in 5th & 6th gear.
To increase this you will need to be able to get a bit more control of the ECU through TuneECU.
I think that there is a checkbox that you have to uncheck or check before you can over-rule that restriction.

I'm not 100% sure that this will solve your particular issue, but it could be worth looking into.

Need to check the box, I successfully changed mine to 7100rpm. best wishes

I didn't see a box to check other than the speed limit removal, and there was just a slide bar for the rev limit.

My knowledge of ECUTune is very small.
I only know that there is check box because I saw it on the screen when my Dyno technician was working on the Rocket.
It appears that you can dial in all the throttle openings in the on screen matrix to what ever you want, but with 5th & 6th gear settings, the ECU with over run any throttle openings that are out of range from what the deeper management is set to by the factory.
It is possible to over ride those limitations, but you have to open up the layer of settings beyond the available ones within the main structure.
This requires finding the menu where you are able to use a check box to over ride the deeper factory limits.
I can't tell you how to call this up within ECUTune. I just saw what the technician do it without really noticing what menu he went to.
