I have Rox risers arriving tomorrow and I’d like to install them myself. I read that it’s easier if you remove the TFT first. If true, can someone explain it? I’m not a mechanic but I’ve swapped handlebars on several other (not Triumph) bikes over the years. I’m hoping the risers give me a couple of inches of pullback.
thanks in advance!

I didn't remove my cluster. Was fine, handlebars were a tad heavier but no issue. Once all done, you can undo bolts on the cluster a bit and move to the new proper angle.

Thanks. Did you have to replace either the brake or clutch lines? Anything I should be aware of before I start?

The tension of hydraulic lines is the same on this bike, doesn't matter where the wheel is turned. So, you don't have to turn the handlebars to gauge if you have enough slack. In one single position, it is as much slack as turned.

What you can do to give more slack, is to so-slightly undo the bolt on the bottom of the master cylinders for brake and clutch, so you can turn like 20 degrees the lines forward (while not introducing the air into the system). This will give you a significant more slack to work with.

You will need to reposition some of the electric wires in that box where windshield is at, so they could stretch extra 2".
