Rockets Across America VI -Fall Launch

It is looking like a washout by the weather forecast to many hurricanes coming from both sides they're predicting up to 6 to 8 inches of rain in Kentucky strange it would all happen the same week we were planning a ride.

I know, will have to watch it,

Latest gaff on the weather

Those coming from the west will enjoy breezy cooling as they get closer to the RAAVIf launch with a chance for brief showers in the afternoons and progressively eastward. For those heading from across the deep south there is most apt to be bands of showers. keep an aplicantion open to radar banding. By return to the NE new England area keep an eye on the upper mid Atlantic section. East to west avenues will present the longer durations.

A dryer condition though much cooler will wrap across the Region for the party. The upper cold pool appears to be shifting over the Tennesse valley. It may be cooler beautiful conditons over the party; after-all. I want to emphasize cooler and perhaps breezy, even at night.

Sure wish I could be there cause its gonna be my preferences in best weather.

me and stb wont be making this one hopefully the next one

I'm leaving on Tuesday morn. I will watch the weather, and take the long way if

cold, but don't mind a little of it.

T & I will start out Wed. Morning....the cold front should be east of us by then.
We will go to Terre Haute or vicinity first day...then go the rest of the way on Thurs.

It looks like we can stay in the dry slot all the way....we'll see.

Are we there yet?
