Rockets Across America V – Spring Launch

Dude I've been to the last two RAA events and wouldn't want to miss one.
I did miss the last rocket launch, but had no vacation time left.
Sorry, didn't mean to rub salt in there for ya.

My wife thinks its some kind of wild biker party with all kinds of goings on. I told her that it was more of a family thing. Husbands and wives.
She dont believe it. Especially with the smile on my face.
I'll meet up with some of yaw some time this summer.
Got to do the 500 mile service near Dallas next month. If the weather is right I'll try riding the 3.5 hrs back and see how I hold up. I've never done the long haul before.
 
Unfortunately I will not be able to attend this gathering.

My father unexpectedly passed away and I will be burying him on Tue.
My parents lived in the Dallas area, (180 miles from me) and my sister and I will have to foot the bill for the services etc. I will also have to be moving my mother from the home that she and my father lived in for the last 20 years within the next month as her income will decrease as a result of my fathers death. So both time and expenses prevent me from going on this trip, or several others We had planned.

I was truley looking forward to making this event, I really wanted to meet many of the rocket owners I haven't yet had the chance to meet, as well as see some old friends made because of the Rocket community.

Ride the twisties for me and toss one back in honor of my old man, the guy that introduced me to a motorcycle at an age too young for me to really remember, guess it stuck.

Been there done that Lon. It will work out for the best as you will enjoy the next trip more. Sorry to hear about the loss may your days get easier.

Thanks to skips connections and boogerdave's art work we will have patches available for the spring RAA no need to pre-order we will have plenty available for 5.00 each.... Due to the upfront expense we will not have pins this time. I think Dave will taking orders for shirts and Swag shortly. Looking forward to seeing everyone in may.
