Well guys, I no longer own my pride and joy. We have a new Rocket Captain in our ranks. Jeffrey from Conneticut, along with his dad Cliff drove down and picked my/their Rocket up this morning.

After taking it for a quick spin...he decided he still wanted it and packed it up and left.

I know it is going to a good home and I hope Jeff enjoys his new bike.

It's weird not having a motorcycle now for the first time since October (thru November) of 2005 when I sold my first Gold Wing to a guy from Georgia.

At least now I can concentrate on paying off more bills and saving up for the new bike in the beginning or so of next year. I may be staying till the middle of March now (my wife says as long as I'm back before our anniversary on March 29th) so I should be able to pick up a new 2011 and hopefully a red/black combo will be in my future (don't want to buy a new jacket and helmet).

Here is a pic of the new Captain Jeff and his new ride...I hope they have a safe trip.

4 dtg to fly back
5 dtg Dubai
6 dtg Kandahar

I see he is already suffering from smileitis:D
next will be wristitis
and well then his cheeks will be sliding back towards the rear tire:D

I can't believe he didn't take the bus down and ride it back. Obviously, the man doesn't have the proper riding gear such as a quality pair of Paul Stanley signature, moisture wicking, riding manties.

I sold my Valkyrie to a guy who collected it with a trailer and it was a strange feeling
seeing the bike leave..all tied down..almost like it was taken prisoner and it didn't
want to go ...i know..i'll get my coat

Thanks for posting Dennis.

There was to much stuff that came with the bike to drive it back.

We are back in CT . 25 hrs 1300 miles. ( Fl to CT )

The rocket has gone to a good home, I will take very good care of it !
