I see you got it on but that you still might want the pipe lower. Yes? You might recall I lowered my mufflers and it was relatively simple to put an extra bit of mounting plate. You just need 4 holes - 2 to go on the bike and 2 to mount the pipe to. To lower the muffler I cut about 2 inches off the join in pipe and had a straight bit of pipe welded in. You perhaps need the reverse. In any case, you shouldn't need to touch the headers.

Bull don't cut the headers .. anything is a better option than doing that mate. Brackets , mounting plates whatever are easy fab for muffler shop or anyone working with steel. Sure perseverance will get it fitted up as the others have stated.

Thanks Mate!
I am getting there and no header cutting shall commence.
May have to enlarge the two holes in the muffler mounting plate a skosh so I can get the can low as possible.

Not too good a pix. My very first photo with my new smart phone.
Just took a little more determination. Thanks for all the help.
Sounds pretty good - a little quieter than the small stainless can I had on it, but it barks just fine with a twist of the throttle!
I made a m4 audio but guess we can't upload these.
Too bad because it sounds AWESOME!!!

as they say in the oilfield DONT FORCE IT JUST GET A BIGGER HAMMER

Just took my old Jardines off the bike, 5 mins job done. I notice the front cyl is rich, middle looks perfect and the rear looks lean.
Just wondering if this is to do with the header length on the jars?
I will get the dyno shop the check it out when I get the CES pipe on.

Thanks for that - another question for the tuner.
Raining here - shall take first ride with my new CES tomorrow.

Glad you sorted it out mate. I like the yellow stripes BTW.
Do you call it the bumblebee?
