One of the most surprising things about joining this forum was how many of our members are based in Australia and in the UK. I would of never imagined! But I guess that makes sense since this is a British Motorcycle, not too popular in the USA/CA region...

I was wondering who is local to where I live. I haven't ever met another Rocket Captain ever, and I've only literally seen 1 Rocket Touring bike in my area, I've seen more 6Cyl Valkyries then Rockets.

Who here lives close by in the GTA area? I know there must be a couple of you on here... Does everyone buy from GP Bikes?

I caught a fleeting glimpse of a Rocket once( seems to be a rare "beast" to spot) as I was heading north on Yonge, making my way to the 401 in my car. So far, including you, there'a at least 3 of us. I met a fellow rider in Durham and as it it turns out so far, GP bikes is the place to shop, "for all your motorcycling needs"

Saw one going in the opposite direction once on the 407 and that's the only time.

When I was looking to buy my R3 I found one for sale not 15 minutes from my house which was too funny. Didn't end up buying that one though. Haven't dealt with GP since they were in Ajax which is a while ago now. I'm in Milton so Sturgis (in Hamilton) is a little closer but I buy pretty much exclusively on-line and do most of my own mechanical work. If it's beyond me, we have a really good independent shop in town. Check out the font he used for his company name :) http://www.bronkos.com/. For any Brits reading this, the owner's name is Brent Cross :) He works on those other bikes primarily but loves Triumphs. You should have seen his face the first time I pulled up on mine.

HERE is a Triumph related story from Brent's site

I'm in Durham/Clarington and have briefly met up with Neveragain so I could hear the TORS
