I have a towbar with frame etc from my 2004 rocket 3, it's a chunky unit, I will get some photos up at the weekend. not sure what it's worth? so make me an offer if interested. It can be collected from Nottingham (weekends) or Christchurch (Dorset)(week) or posted at cost.

Hey Fozzie, I get that you posted this months ago, but there didn't appear to be a buyer at the time, so long shot but....do you still have it?
I just bought a 2009 R3 Classic (hasn't even been delivered yet!) and need a hitch for it, but I've been struggling to find one, any suggestions on where I might find one if yours has gone?
PS new to the Rocket 3 world so don't even know if this will fit, so any advice is most welcome, my other half has a rocket as well but hers is a 2008 touring, and I know they're different but that's the extent of my knowledge at the moment

I have a couple or three down here in Oz .

Be aware there are different fitments of different models of Rocket III.
As you have already mentioned the basic difference between single headlight Rocket III Tourings and dual headlight Standards, Classics and Roadsters.
The early 2004-2009 Standards and Classic models fitted with then aftermarket king Jardine's Big Boss complete exhaust header and pipes and the later 2010 on Roadsters have ABS components etc that can also affect mounting systems.
In Australia a now defunct but many decade producer for most motorcycle brands /models was a Queensland based company .

The versions below ARE NOT the R3T 'TT21' ones so you can ID and NOT buy by mistake.
These are all solid bar/plate and not tubed steel.
Pretty sure these below are TT17 Triumph Rocket III 2003 to 2009.

Note differences

The one below was Mittzy's Roadster one he sold a while ago. Note the different plate shape at end and much lower rail height to accommodate ABS parts or lower mufflers like Jardines need too!
