Rocket 3 Roadster windshield hardware kit

I made some adjustment brackets not long ago. They are used to fine tune adjustments for in and out of the windshield instead of up and down. Works really well.

Hi Sunil,
So at the end of the day, what did you need to mount the Clearview shield....what can you buy and from where, and what did you have to fabricate? Thanks for trailblazing....

Mike

I purchased the N2210 hardware kit from National Cycle (just got it) and a 25" vented re-curve windshield from Clearview (due in the next week or so) and now armed with the above information from BDKcoyte and Mittzy I am off to the garage to see if I have enough material to make these brackets. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, us shoestring budget guys appreciate it.

I just want to make sure I've got this right....

If I have nothing on the bike right now and I want to go the route of the national cycle windscreen hardware, I'll need the following:

A triumph Fixing kit +
30-310310-000 outside horizontal chrome strap $11.95
75-766210-000 Horizontal Gaskets $2.95 ea (2 required)
30-330200-000 Outside Chrome vertical strap right $10.95
30-330300-000 Outside Chrome vertical strap Left $10.95
75-766410-000 Vertical Gaskets $0.95 ea (4 Required)
30-320410-000 Inside horizontal strap $12.00
35-350000-000 Inside vertical mount right $10.00
35-350100-000 Inside vertical mount left $10.00
55-580011-000 bolt 1/4-20 x 5/8 $0.30 ea (7 required)
55-580101-000 Bolt 1/4-20 X 3/4 $0.30 ea (2 required)
42-480000-000 Cap nuts $0.95 ea (9 required)

I'll need to fab this:

And then I can buy a windshield from Clearview or any of the others that are out there?

Is that right? Am I missing anything?

Thats all the parts I ordered, will finish fabbing up brackets up tomorrow and waiting for the windshield to arrive. I have about $340 in in all together, dealer wanted $550

Here you go
@Mittzy I have some questions about this bracket. How "square" do the square holes have to be? The guy making these brackets for me says that they will have slight radius in the corners, due to the way his machine makes the holes. I guess I could file them to be straight if it is required. Do the bolts that go though these holes have the square shaft to keep them tight?

Also, I guess that I would also need the other side of the bracket as shown in BDKcoyte sketch? Thanks for your help.
