If I plug a quick shifter into the plug should anything coming up on the dash .as I bought one plugged it in .and dosent seen it do anything

'Run through each gear for about 10 seconds should activate it".

The GEN 2 Rockets you have to activate the software with the dealer tool. You also have to specify how the quick shifter is going to work. For example is the up shift going to be a push or a pull. It is different between the GT and R models. You can't just plug them in and have them work. Then you do the run through the gears to get it calibrated.

Yep, dealer had to hook up to Truimph software and set up. Then had to ride and go through each gear to compete. Works great!

No. Those kind of configuration is written in the firmware.

But I think I had to also turn it back on in the bike/instrument setup when I was doing the time/date. It defaults to off.

Then something went on with mine because when the battery was disconnected it wiped it out.
