Will the Rivco Riser that fits the Standard & Classic R3's fit with no problems on the R 3 Roadster,Anyone mounted one yet,LMK if there are problems and if so which. Pictures would be a big + too if you have some. Thanks.

I also called Rivco, they say they don't know if it will fit or not. Checked in the Search mode here to,nothing I could find for Rivco Riser to fit the the R3Roadster itself?

Haven't seen any fitted myself but I can't see any reason they won't fit their isn't any difference up front that I'm aware of .

Same here.
Don't own a roadster but plenty of folks here do that have had standards,
so somebody with some knowledge of both bikes will be along shortly
and tell ya if it's doable or not.
Good luck.

Have a 2011 roadster with the rivco risers and love them. Brake and throttle lines were tight so I moved mine to the back of the triple tree and they worked just fine then.

gday fellas, i fitted the rivco risers to my 2010 roadster with complete ease. being I'm such a talented mechanical bloke, the hardest part was buying a left handed wrench......

on a serious not, did it myself, extremely easy to do, follow the same procedure as standard and classic which means you have to run throttle cable slightly differently just to give you more slack to compensate when doing tight manoeuvring ... full lock stuff...

the only one problem i had was..when you want to lift the tank to get to motor, you have to remove the bars as not enough clearance from front of tank to the dials ( speedo, taco). isn't really a problem as only adds 5 mins to accessing under tank stuff but a pain in the arse for me. i decided to flip the dial bracket upside down so i had clearance to open her up without having to undo anything...this led to me having to open dials and cut the cups a bit as i had to flip the guts upside down... thats what led to my issue with the other thread referring to replacement cups and the fact that you can't seem to get them for the roadster.

truth is, if i wasn't an impatient prick, i could have cut and welded the mounting bracket and i would have had no issues at all. once again, given my technical ability, i had nothing to cut or weld the bracket so i thought i should risk ******* up the cups as i'd have no problem just replacing the when i could get someone to modify the bracket.....

so short answer is, if you are happy to have to spend the extra 5-10 mins to access below your tank, it is an easy fit if not be prepared to modify the gauge mounting bracket.

hope this helps

I also have the risers on my roadster and love em. It is a ***** about the gauges getting in the road of lifting the tank, but as Ponters said it only adds 10mins or so to getting under the tank.
I also have looked at a fix and just haven't had time to do anything about it.
A modified bracket was one of my ideas also or maybe a new bracket. The other idea I like is a new stainless steel locking tab to replace the original only on a hinge so when you lift the tank it drops down out the way as the tank comes passed the gauges.

Go the risers you won't regret them.

Thanks a Million gentleman. Now I know and I think Im still gonna get the Rivco Standard/Classic risers and mount them. You all are Awesome.
