Riding weather

Managed to get a coat of paint on my bike trailer Thursday ... Albany in winter " either raining or just about to" as I've been told by local bike riders. Proving to be true.
Picking up a 9 foot bondwood punt tomorrow in case we need an ark .. hahaha

Chick I used to work with in Melbourne was the biggest Billy Connolly fan I've ever met. She went to 5 of his 7 gigs in town. Said everyone of them was different .. few same gags but most he just adlibbed on the night. Brilliant observer of our species .. the book his missus wrote about him is worth a read as well. Hasn't come through life without his share of lumps and bumps.

Mendooran on the back road between Gilgandra and Dubbo? Used to travel that road back in the 80's to and from Bathurst get off the Hyway as much as we could. Got booked for speeding near Mendooran.

I used to Drag a double decker stock trailer out to Mendooran and pick up cattle for Gosford Meats in the late 80s and have a (dry) lunch at the Pub, the Town has not changed in 30years and probably wont for the next 30,as mentioned in a previous post you just walked in said g'day to the Blokes and you were made welcome ,still the same today,that's Aussie's in the bush towns
