and $13.32 just to ship up to Canada. That is the main reason I rarely visit eBay any more. Those guys rely on making money on the shipping not the goods. Forget that.
this rip-off is an arrangement between ebay who owns GSP shipping and pitney bowes who actually handles the international shipping here is how it works ebay offers USA sellers a contract where Ebay handles all international shipping just for the cost of internal US shipping naturally most sellers jump at the offer it is very cheap , YOU the buyer have NO knowledge whether the seller has signed on with this . so you buy say some decals figuring on a few bucks for shipping then you realize paypal has taken $28.98 for shipping added to the price of the goods and the seller has paid about 4 to 5 bucks also he send the stuff somewhere in kentucky at the GSP sorting plant who reroute from there to your address you cannot retract from the sale you are mad at the seller you write to him and the poor sod answer you that he did not charge you the $28 it is GSP who did it very clever very unfriendly I read their contract they can charge what they want ( it is called OTHER FEES) I now ask any vendor if they use GSP for shipping if they do I do not bid
you know whats even funnier than the stickers .... shipping to Aus $23.57 for stickers costing only $3.99US for a pack of 4, that measure 2.5 x 4 inches which of course would fit in a standard size envelope and cost 3 or 4 $ to send through std post
Hans, if you are successful with the Pass the Hat for Phil's Airfare campaign to get me to Philip Island, I'll bring the entire Australian Rocket III owner's community free stickers. You, of course, will be entitled to at least two of them and all the booze you can drink on my dime for the duration of my stay!
